Strategic Direction Survey Now Open, Deadline Fri 8/31

SWAN Member Libraries, SWAN is in the process of creating a 5-year strategic plan. This email announces a survey that will be open until Friday, August 31, 5:00 p.m. CT. This survey is for all library staff at SWAN member libraries, and will take around 10 minutes to complete. https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2018-08-27/strategic-direction-surve… This survey will inquire about your individual usage of services at your library, and has some ideas that have been suggested by our membership. Library Closing

The Broadview Public Library District will be closed Monday, September 3, 2018 for Labor Day, and Tuesday and Wednesday September 4 & 5 for construction work. Normal hours should resume Thursday, September 6th. Batavia & Carol Stream - Closed Fri 8/24 for In-Service

The Batavia Public Library will be closed to the public on Friday, August 24th for staff training. The Carol Stream Public Library will be closed to the public on Friday, August 24th for their Staff Development Day. Both libraries will open at their usual time, 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 25th.

Chicago Ridge Closed Thursday 8/23 9 AM-5 PM In-Service

Tis the season for In-Service days! The Chicago Ridge Public Library will be closed from 9 AM to 5 PM on Thursday, August 23rd for an in-service. The library will be open Thursday from 5-9 PM that evening.
