[SWANcom] Symphony Workflows procedure for processing Non-SWAN Interlibrary Loans

+++ Please forward to appropriate personnel +++ Everyone - Attached is a document defining the process for the circulation of Non-SWAN Interlibrary Loan items on SirsiDynix Workflows. No longer will libraries be using dummy item cards- after 15 years you can finally throw them away. This process involves adding a Brief Title to Workflows to circulate the item. After circulation the item is deleted from SWAN by the circulating library. While checked out to your patron the item is shadowed in Enterprise to all other users. The patron will see the title entered in their list of checked out items. By entering the Brief Title to SWAN, you can place a hold on the item, generate a hold notice for the item by checking the item in, and after generating the hold even place the item on your open hold shelf for patron pickup.
