This week, SWAN staff made significant progress in resolving issues with BookMyne, and we're happy to announce that the app now works consistently on both iOS and Android devices without significant issues. Patrons can now add their local libraries, access their library account, perform searches, and place holds on the SWAN catalog from any network, anywhere, as expected. While the BookMyne app is certainly not as robust as the Enterprise OPAC, it can be suggested as an alternative to patrons that continue to experience issues accessing the Enterprise catalog from their tablets and phones. That being the case, SWAN will also be releasing a brief Quick Start guide for BookMyne that will cover the essentials of using the app, which can be shared with patrons.
