SWAN Library Directors and Administrators: We are pleased to announce the start of the 2014 SWAN Board election process. SWAN will have one open at-large position on the Board starting July 1, 2014. The SWAN Board is comprised of seven library directors elected from our SWAN member libraries. Board member responsibilities include: * Acting on issues affecting the long-term future of SWAN * Monitoring SWAN's finances and the overall financial health of SWAN * Maintaining open lines of communication with the SWAN membership Since our open seat is an at-large position, any director from groups A, B, or C can submit a statement of interest for this election. The goal is to have an open process and at the same time ensure that all SWAN membership is represented during elections.
