SWAN Library Directors and Administrators: We are pleased to announce the start of the 2017 SWAN Board election process. SWAN will have two open at-large position on the Board starting July 1, 2017. The SWAN Board is currently comprised of seven library directors elected from our SWAN member libraries. Board member responsibilities include: * Acting on issues affecting the long-term future of SWAN * Monitoring SWAN's finances and the overall financial health of SWAN * Maintaining open lines of communication with the SWAN membership Since our open seats are all at-large, any director can submit a statement of interest for this election. The goal is to have an open process and at the same time ensure that all SWAN membership is represented during elections. Candidates will be announced via SWANcom on Monday, April 3rd. Our voting process will run for three weeks, from Monday May 1st through Friday May 19th.
