Yesterday was the first day the MISSTRNSIT report was scheduled to run on a daily basis.
It was unfortunately configured incorrectly which caused all items in transit to be
checked out to the MISSTRNSIT user. The report has been corrected and will run as expected
in the future.
The checkout to MISSTRNSIT placed your patron back at the top of the hold queue. As you
process your delivery bins over the next few days you may see a higher number of items
routing to other libraries to fill holds, or back to their home library because your
patron's hold was filled by another item in the interim. This will not affect any
items currently on your holdshelf. Once the item is checked in the previous user will
display as MISSTRNSIT.
You will not be receiving the In Transit Shelf Check Reports this week as there will be no
items that fit the criteria (10-30 days in transit).
We will continue to update you as we gain more information with this issue.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please contact SWAN Member Services if
you experience other complications.
