We have received reports of an issue in MobileCirc that prevents the cursor from automatically return to the barcode field when using the MobileCirc Inventory module.
SirsiDynix is aware of the bug and has issued a JIRA case. They are actively working to resolve this issue, however, we do not currently have a timeline for resolution.

We've received reports that some holds awaiting pickup, when checked out, are displaying the message, "item is on hold for another patron" and requiring an override. If this occurs, simply override the hold to checkout to the patron associated on the hold shelf.
We believe the issue may be relating to some routine database maintenance and do not expect the issue to persist nor impact a significant number of patrons/holds.

The Committee of the Whole meeting at Oak Brook Public Library agenda and packet is now posted online.
This packet contains information on an EBSCO group-purchase for a package of subscription databases SWAN has arranged for the 92 public libraries in SWAN. This group-purchase is part of a year-long effort by Electronic Resources Consultant Robin Hofstetter. Robin will present the EBSCO deal at the membership meeting and answer your questions. There are substantial savings for many SWAN libraries already paying for EBSCO resources, and those libraries not using EBSCO should take a look at the pricing listed in the packet.

This meeting will also introduce next year's budget, which has been revamped with a new chart of accounts. Membership fees are presented as a draft in this packet as well.

As noted in our announcement news post<https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2019-11/66944>, Hoopla has provided simplified guides (iOS<http://go.midwesttape.com/l/279222/2019-10-14/8z4rg/279222/141695/hoopl_pin…> | Android<http://go.midwesttape.com/l/279222/2019-10-14/8z4rd/279222/141693/hoopl_pin…> | Web<http://go.midwesttape.com/l/279222/2019-10-14/8z4rj/279222/141697/hoopl_pin…>) to walk them through the process of updating their PIN. If the patron does not know their PIN, they can reset it via the Enterprise "Forgot my PIN" function at the login screen, or library staff can reset it for them.

The Melrose Park Public Library will be changing their hours in 2020. These changes will affect their hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays:
Monday: 9am-5pm
Tuesday: 11:00am-7pm
Wednesday: 9am-5pm
Thursday: 11:00am-7pm
Friday: 9am-5pm
Saturday: 10-2 (closed the last Saturday of the month)*
Closed every Sunday.
*Closed Saturdays Memorial Day through Labor Day
