Committee of the Whole Meeting 4/29 Agenda & Packet Posted

SWAN Library Directors & Administrators- The agenda and packet for Wednesday's meeting at 10 a.m. is now available. The packet link below is the agenda and the 8 page document that we will cover at the meeting at agenda item #4. EBSCO Group-Purchase: Delayed Formal Announcement

SWAN Public Library Staff- I realized that the announcement on the final approval of the group-purchase of the EBSCO database package for all 92 public libraries in SWAN never took place due to the first week of the coronavirus pandemic quite simply set aside all other planned announcements. EBSCO Group-Purchase Selection Now Open

SWAN Public Libraries- The EBSCO group-purchase was approved for all 92 public library members of SWAN at the March 5th membership meeting. We are excited to announce that the online form is now open for you to customize your library database choices. Each public library should select 4 databases from the set list provided. SWAN Director's and Administrators' Quarterly Meeting Agenda & Packet for 3/5/20 Posted

SWAN Member Libraries, The March Quarterly agenda and packet for the meeting on Thursday, March 5th at 10 a.m. is now available to you. https://support.swanlibraries.net/sites/default/files/meeting/20_03_05/6690… This meeting will include a vote to revise SWAN ByLaws. The revised version is included in the packet along with a memo outlining the requested changes. The EBSCO group-purchase that was introduced at the Committee of the Whole meeting a few weeks ago is now finalized for pricing. And of course there will be a review of next year's SWAN budget and fees which we will seek your feedback on. The meeting will be live-streamed, but we encourage as many directors/administrators to attend in person. The remote attendance is noted at the bottom of the agenda. Our scheduled database maintenance has concluded successfully! The SWAN Bibliographic Services team will provide an update in the next few days with some statistics regarding the records changes applied. The Symphony report queue will be catching up for the remainder of the evening, so please refrain from scheduling any new reports. Additionally, normally scheduled library reports for Acquisitions and other functions have been temporarily suspended to reduce tonight's report backlog.
