Hold Configuration Change - Trap Hold with First Item Received

A change has been made in our SWAN global demand management configuration settings that went into effect today, September 10, 2019. Our system is now configured to trap hold with the first item received. This change is implemented to help get the item into the hands of the patron as soon as possible. SWAN Quarterly Meeting 9/5/19 Presentation and Recording Posted

Those studies began with SWAN working with the company Merge Design + Interactive in 2017, which we have continued on our own within the SWAN User Experience department and our Discovery & User Experience Advisory Group (DUX) for 2018-2019. Carol Stream Public Library - Late Opening 9/18,19

River Forest Public Library Closed Friday, 9/6
