Message added to Enterprise to alert patrons to maintenance downtime of Ecommerce

+++ Please route to appropriate personnel +++ I just wanted to let everyone know that we have added a message to Enterprise to alert patrons to the downtime planned for Ecommerce tomorrow night. The message displays in Enterprise only if your library participates in Ecommerce. The message will display from today until early Thursday morning (5 AM). Message reads:" This Wednesday, July 8th, beginning at 9pm we will be performing maintenance on the online fines/bill payment feature of the catalog. The downtime should last 1-2 hours. During maintenance the payment feature is disabled. Once payments can be made, the display of fines in the "My Account" area will include the usual checkboxes. Thank you for your understanding." And "Thank You" for your patience. *Planned Outage* on 7/8 at 9pm - Enterprise eCommerce (Fines/Bills Payment)

SWAN Member Library Staff: This Wednesday, July 8th, at 9pm, the Enterprise OPAC eCommerce payment service will be offline for a planned outage and system maintenance. During that time, the payment service will be disabled for patrons to avoid any lost/failed transactions. This outage will not affect any other functions of the Enterprise OPAC or Symphony WorkFlows. We will re-enable the service following a successful conclusion of our maintenance. We hope for this process to take no longer than 1-2 hours. 4th of July holiday reminder

Just a quick reminder regarding holiday closings: SWAN is closed on Friday, July 3rd RAILS is closed on Friday, July 3rd SWAN libraries will receive delivery as usual Thursday night/Friday morning - there will be no delivery on Friday night/Saturday morning. On Friday July 3rd, if you should need to contact SWAN, please open a ticket by sending an email to help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> or call 630-734-5153. Unique Integrated Communications will be providing phone coverage as they do every weekend. If an emergency should arise, they know how to reach us.
