We have received questions regarding the ILLINET Traffic Survey and reporting interlibrary loan numbers as part of your annual reporting. Please note that the ILLINET Traffic Survey is based on a fiscal year starting with July 1. NOTE: the filing deadline for FY21 (July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021) is March 31, 2022. If you have not completed the FY21 ILLINET Traffic Survey please do so before this deadline. Monthly Patron Record Removal - Continue with 10 years inactivity

As we juggle with an interesting start to 2022 and process the address changes supplied through the National Change of Address (NCOA) process, we are postponing the change to 7 years on inactivity on patron records as qualifying criteria. The monthly report you receive in your BLUEcloud Analytics History Log will reflect those patron records eligible for removal the following month, if no action is taken by the library to update the patrons Last Activity Date (LAD). Nightly Processing Delay - Please Suspend All Activities Except Checkout/Checkin Until Further Notice

Until the long-running overnight processing concludes and SWAN has sent an “all clear” update, please refrain from all WorkFlows activities except Checkout and Checkin. SirsiDynix is currently investigating the reason for these long-running overnight maintenance reports. Throughout the morning, you are likely to encounter errors until these reports have concluded including “Hatwrapper Exception” and “Records in Use.” Additionally, many records may be unsearchable in WorkFlows by name, as this maintenance impacts our record indexing process. Self-Nomination open for two co-chair positions to lead new Acquisitions/Cataloging Users group

We are happy to announce that for 2022, the Acquisitions Users group and Cataloging Users group will become one group that meets 4 times a year: Feb 10th, May 12th, Sep 8th, and Dec 8th. This decision was based on different factors, such as topics that crossover both modules, fewer meetings for you to attend, and an opportunity to learn more about one area or the other. Planned eResource Central Maintenance/Downtime on Oct. 26th at 11 p.m.

SWAN Member Library Staff: SirsiDynix will be performing planned maintenance of the eResource Central server on Tuesday, October 26th at 11:00 p.m., which will require downtime of eRC services throughout the process. The maintenance is expected to take no longer than one hour. During that time, the resources listed below will be unavailable via Enterprise and the SWAN BLUEcloud Mobile app. This issue does not affect the Aspen catalog. Aspen Discovery: Volume-Level Holds Issues

Good afternoon - Aspen Discovery users may have noticed that they are no longer able to place holds on specific volumes of periodicals and booksets through the Aspen interface. This is a bug we are working to resolve. In the meantime, please direct staff and patrons to place volume-level holds through Enterprise or Workflows.
