We are monitoring tickets as they come in this weekend. Many libraries are moving to a curbside model starting Monday. Rest assured that if your library is moving to curbside only service, the system is set to support that now - no immediate changes are required in the system. We will respond to tickets requesting change to curbside only service on Monday.
If your library is closing all physical access, including curbside service, we will respond this weekend as tickets are reviewed.

To add some clarification, you will be receiving a new default password to your designated account email address from Unique's automated system. You can expect those password emails late Sunday night into early Monday morning. After logging in the first time with the new password, please change the password immediately.
SWAN and Unique staff will be available to assist should you encounter any issues on Monday morning, so please don't hesitate to reach out to either group.

We're currently investigating notices of a widespread network/VPN outage across our libraries. This appears to be part of a larger outage, either with the Microsoft Azure platform which hosts our server environment or with a major internet service provider.
As of 12pm, the outage appears to have subsided, lasting only a few minutes. Most libraries have been able to reconnect. If your library is still down, please let us know by emailing help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net>.

Grace periods have been extended from 0 days to 7 days, and 3 days to 8 days. This change is in effect today, September 16th. Change in grace period fine accrual does not impact fine-free circulation rules. Libraries who have delayed return to pre-COVID circulation rules, due to fine accrual while items are in quarantine, may now consider this grace period extension when determining circulation policies for your library. Due to an unexpected system error, emails sent from the Symphony/WorkFlows server were not delivered to patrons or staff this Saturday or Sunday. This includes all emailed notices, reports, and receipts.
We determined that the issue resulted from a misconfigured service following recent system updates. We have resolved the issue and the server has resumed sending all emails. However, we have been unable to resend emails that should have been delivered to patrons and staff throughout the weekend. We will continue to review options to capture these missed notices into Monday and will provide updates to the Known Issue<https://support.swanlibraries.net/node/77451> as they become available.
