SWAN Quarterly meeting 3/2/23 agenda & packet posted

Hello SWAN library directors & administrators- The agenda and meeting packet for this Thursday, March 2nd membership meeting is posted for you. You can access these PDF documents from the meeting link below: https://support.swanlibraries.net/meeting/92371 This meeting will be held in-person at the Oak Brook Public Library and will include a membership vote on the SWAN budget for the upcoming year. The meeting will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person, however, the approval vote must be conducted in-person. The meeting includes presentations on the following topics: * Aspen Discovery's mobile app & SWAN plans for evaluation * MessageBee project progress report * EBSCO online subscription database renewal * Updates to SWAN's Online Learning system * Upcoming SWAN Board election If you are unable to attend but would still like to have your library vote on the budget, you can send a substitute to vote on behalf of the library. Just let me know in advance. EBSCO database group-purchase subscription year-4 renewal details

Hello member library directors, administrators, e-content specialists: The pricing for the SWAN group-purchase of EBSCO subscription database package was presented at the Committee of the Whole membership meeting last week on February 7th. That pricing is included in the meeting packet, and I have pulled out that pricing which is linked directly to the news post below which has all the details. https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2023-02/94116 Any public library participating currently will automatically be included in the year-4 renewal. If you would like your library to withdraw from the group purchase arrangement, please submit your library's opt-out by February 24th, end of the day. The link to withdraw is in the news post above.
