October Quarterly Billing now available

Please route to appropriate staff. The October Quarterly Billing is complete and the invoices and checks will be mailed shortly from the RAILS Accounting Department. Documentation<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members%20Only/BLUEcloud/BCA…> has been written to help guide users through the Billing Summary<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members%20Only/BLUEcloud/102…> sheet as well as the detail statement reports<http://na1-microstrategy.bc.sirsidynix.net/bcanalytics/asp/Main.aspx?evt=20…> folder accessible in BlueCloud Analytics Shared Reports. You will note that the October Billing does not include any credits or debits for Unpaid Lost library material. This is due to the August, 2017 Circ Policy<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members%20Only/Circulation%2…> revision Section 4.g: "Reimbursement for non-returned lost materials will be 365 days after due date and processed on a quarterly basis." Which effectively postpones reimbursement for these types of lost items until October, 2018. If you do not have access to the BCA reports, please open a ticket at help(a)swanlibraries.net<mailto:help@swanlibraries.net> and we will send you the Excel file. In addition, we will have a BCA login created for you and supply you with the documentation you need to access these files in the future. Updated documentation<https://support.swanlibraries.net/system/files/Members%20Only/Circulation/P…> is now available to advise libraries what to do with these reports. *Resolved* Enterprise Outage on 10/18

SWAN Member Library Staff: We’ve received confirmation from SirsiDynix Support that the outage has been resolved. It appears to have been related to an issue with the EDS (EBSCO Discovery Service) integration, which ultimately resulted in a crash of the Enterprise servers for some EDS-subscribing customers. SirsiDynix has corrected the issue, so no further downtime is anticipated for this evening. They’ve acknowledged a potentially widespread issue affecting many SirsiDynix SaaS-hosted customers and are looking into the issue now. This issue is only impacting access to the Enterprise Catalog - no other services are affected at this time. SWAN Fees Committee Online Feedback Form

SWAN Library Directors & Administrators, We had a great discussion yesterday at the Committee of the Whole meeting held at the Oak Lawn Public Library.
