Hi All,
I would like to ask all of you to come to the meeting next Friday (6/19/15) with two candidates in mind for the soon to be open board seat.
While we had two candidates who ran in the last election, I would like to see if there are other strong candidates you might have in mind.

Hi All,
I received a resignation letter yesterday from Pierre Gregoire. His resignation takes effective August 1, 2015. His letter of resignation will be included in the June board packet.
According to the bylaws, since there is less than one year left on Pierre's term, the board will have to appoint someone to fill the vacancy instead of holding a special election.
That person will then have to run in 2016 for a full term if they want to continue being a board member.

The SWAN Board would like to thank the SWAN staff and our dedicated helpers, trainers, and committee volunteers for all of their hard work by hosting a fête in our honor!
Please save the date of Saturday, June 20th if you'd like to join us. We are just beginning to plan, so details and formal invites will follow. Here is what we know so far -
· Event begins at 4, with dinner to be served at 5:30
· This event will be catered, but if you'd like to bring an extra dessert to share or alcoholic beverages of your choice, feel free!
· You are welcome to bring your significant other/family if you'd like
· It will be held at 9600 Brandt Ave. in Oak Lawn
