The agenda is fairly light for this meeting, with the Vendor Access Policy needing a minor revision, and a more extensive revision needed for the Reserve Cash Policy. The discussion on the Reserve Cash Policy may require some work with the SWAN Treasurer or the Finance Committee. I decided it was best to let the officers and committees be filled before scheduling anything. I realize now that I did not explain the Vendor Policy revision in my written report, but the changes are small enough that I can explain it at the meeting (basically we are streamlining our vendor agreements, incorporating a non-disclosure wording into the policy).
Robin Wagner is unable to attend Friday's meeting as she is managing planned knee replacement. Please reply directly to me if you are unable to attend Friday.

Just a reminder that the next SWAN Board meeting will be held at Thomas Ford on Friday, June 28th at 9:30 am. Following our meeting, we'll be serving lunch at the library to celebrate our departing members and to welcome our new additions.
If you have any special dietary requirements, please let me know. Lunch will most likely be sandwiches and salads but we can accommodate anyone's requests.
The library parking lot is a block away from the building at the corner of Lawn and Chestnut behind the Grand Avenue Community Center. You can also park on the street but I would request that you leave the limited parking in front of the library available for our patrons. The front doors will be unlocked by 9:00 am. The library opens at 9:30.
There will be a closed session near the end of our meeting during which time guests are welcome to take a tour of our newly renovated facility. My staff is always eager to show off their new departments! Lunch will follow shortly after.

The new reps have been added to this email list, so you have 10 directors at the moment, along with Ginny Blake, Dawne Tortorella, and myself. I have contacted all of the individuals who ran. Here is an update from the three new reps:
Robin Wagner: I am so honored and excited! I'll be there on June 21st. Look forward to working with you and the Board.
Jane Jenkins: Thank you! I feel very honored to have been elected and am looking forward to serving on the SWAN Board. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the get together with the new representatives on June 21 as I am on vacation from June 20 - June 25.
Dawn Bussey: One small problem- June 21st I am headed in to the city for the day with the GEPL Marketing team. We have been selected to receive one day of free marketing and branding help from a large marketing branding firm by the name of Prophet. I will also miss the June 6th quarterly because I will be on vacation. I will review the packets for both. I will make SWAN meetings a top priority on my calendar going forward.

You will find Aaron's 2019 self evaluation attached to this email. In advance of our discussion next Friday, you may find this helpful.
As we discussed, the Friday closed session will be an opportunity to pool our thoughts on Aaron's evaluation and work on creating a final document that is clear and meaningful. The evaluation form hasn't changed from last year and will be included in the packet that Aaron sends out in case anyone needs a copy.
Also included in this document is a salary history and pay grade for your reference as we consider any salary increase this year.
