Hi All,
We had four administrators interested in the open board positon last month. They were asked to submit a statement of interest by 12/9/16. As of 12/9/16, only Jamie submitted a statement.
Colleen and Kate both took their names out of consideration and Pilar did not send a statement. I have asked Jamie to join us at the board meeting on Friday, where a vote will be taken. We also will be voting on the open position of vice-president.

Hello SWAN Board:
Expecting a lengthy meeting tomorrow, I have ordered Corner Bakery for all. I got the usual assortment of sandwich fixings, hummus and veggies, fruit and cheese so hopefully this will be sufficient for all of our tastes! This will be delivered at 11:45am.

Hi All,
With David's resignation, we now have an open board seat that will expire in July 2017. The bylaws for appointing a new board member are as follows,
"SECTION 11. VACANCY AND REMOVAL OF BOARD MEMBERS. The Board shall declare a vacancy in the office of Board member when an elected or appointed Board member declines, fails, or is ineligible or unable to serve. Absence without cause from three regular board meetings within any one year period shall be a basis for declaring a vacancy. If a Board member vacates office the Board shall appoint a replacement to complete the term."
For our meeting on 11/18/16, I ask that you submit to me a name of an administrator you feel can fill the open seat. I would like their names no later than 11/11/18. Will we will then review the candidates at the meeting and appoint someone to fill the open seat.
Before you submit a name, please make sure that you speak with the person to ensure that they really want to be considered. We don't need seven names, but I hope to gather a few.

Hi Everyone,
I asked Aaron and Brande to schedule a special board meeting so that all of us would be on the same page for the COW meeting.
I also asked them to include Jamie in them poll as she is a member of the Swan Futures Task Force committee. I would also like her to join me at the table when we meet at the COW meeting with the loss of David.
Thank you for your prompt response to the poll and I would like to spend our time at the meeting reviewing the answers to the membership questions that were raised at the board meeting.
