Topics: * Basic overview of OMA requirements * Discussion of procedures for complying with OMA * Summarize most common OMA exemptions for going into closed session * Address recent amendments to statute * Discuss PAC opinions and court cases Desired Outcomes: Attendees will learn best practices for complying with OMA, and learn about new opinions and court cases that interpret the statute.
