As a reminder, we will be meeting at Glen Ellyn Public Library. We will spend additional time on some strategic planning exercises after the business portion of the meeting.
There will be morning coffee and pastries from the library café, and the box lunches from Blackberry café will be delivered prior to 9:30 a.m. so lunch will be ready whenever you decide to have it.
I have included the strategic planning exercises in the packet so you have can think ahead of time, but there is no need to complete those prior to Friday.

One of the topics I have on the agenda is to solicit some of your library's approach to honoring years of service for your employees. We will have our staff holiday celebration on January 16th and it will coincide with at least three employees reaching significant milestones having worked at SWAN-two staff at 20 years at SWAN and one who just reached 40 years at SWAN!
SWAN used to have a policy laying out what could be spent on some gift based on years of service, but this was removed during one of the last reviews of the handbook by HR Source.
If you have a practice or some guidelines that could help us, please feel free to share those on Friday at the meeting. You could reply-all here as well.

The main entrance is unfortunately closed, so you will need to go to the side entrance. The door is numbered #7 and you will pass through the children's area to the main lobby. The meeting room is across from the circulation desk.

Apologies for missing the October meeting due to illness. I am back working this week, and one question that I was going to ask at the meeting last week was about the fiscal year 2025 audit underway.
