SWAN Board, Here is the email I sent to SWAN staff earlier this morning. I spoke with Rich Wolff as well. Hi team, As you are all aware from the article that I shared with you last week, I had a presentation and meeting with the trustees and patrons of Park Ridge Public Library last evening as a part of the interview process for their vacant Director position. While that session went well, after much consideration over the past week I have decided to withdraw my name from consideration for this position. I felt that the position was just not the right fit at this time, and wanted to let you all know that as soon as I made my decision. I appreciate all of the well wishes you sent! I spoke with him, wished him luck and told him that I hope he succeeds! Jeannie Dilger from LGS is the other finalist. He was caught off guard by the article being printed and was not notified nor asked if it was ok. Aaron has notified his staff as well. If the offer is made to Aaron and he accepts, I know that we will be in a good position to continue moving forward during the transition of finding his replacement.
