Hello SWAN Board reps- Apologies for missing the October meeting due to illness. I am back working this week, and one question that I was going to ask at the meeting last week was about the fiscal year 2025 audit underway. The auditor asked me to check with you if the SWAN Board would like to have them present the audit at the December 19th meeting. Hello SWAN Board Members- The agenda and packet for Friday's meeting is now available. This meeting will include a presentation by Tara Wood and Olivia Montolin about the Palace Project. We have also included a discussion on delayed membership fee payments, which I have described in my Executive Director report. The document in the packet is a procedure SWAN established if payments of membership dues is delayed, and I wanted to make sure you were aware of those steps. I will be at the ILA conference Tuesday and Wednesday this week, so I hope to see some of you there! Hello SWAN Board representatives- The agenda and packet for Friday's meeting are now available. https://support.swanlibraries.net/meeting/94773 Ted Bodewes will provide an update on the most recent meeting of the Illinois State Library Advisory Committee, which included a discussion to provide recommendations on statewide priorities pertaining to funding of library services and programs. The board meeting schedule for the upcoming year will be approved, so think about which dates work for you to host a meeting at your library. We usually have two months in a row hosted by the same library. This discussion will include our three new board representatives. I also just want to confirm that we will have a quorum for the meeting. Dawn Bussey will not be able to attend, and I believe Colleen Waltman is not available on Friday.
