SAVE THE DATE: Strategic Planning Facilitator On Site Interviews

Hello SWAN Board, We just wrapped up a call with our Strategic Planning Facilitator, Curtis from CWR. He will be visiting us from California to conduct in-person 1 on 1 interviews with each of you, and with some SWAN staff, and we are working to finalize the dates on that by the end of the week. However, we know it will be a three day block sometime during the weeks of July 31st or August 6th. We will also be holding a "Town Hall" meeting (basically a COW meeting) with the membership during one of the 3 days that he'll be on site in those two weeks' timeframe. We'll share more details with you on Friday. For Friday, if you can please bring your availability for meeting with Curtis during those two weeks we will work together to find a 3 day window that will work best for all. He will fly in for the 3 days, somewhere from 7/31 to 8/10. Let us know if you have any questions! SWAN Board 4/20/18 Meeting Packet Posted

We will review our auditor and actuary RFP results; an overview of pricing is included in the packet, and I've attached to the email the scoring system that we used to determine our auditor top choice as well. As a reminder, Aaron is at COSUGI through Wednesday of this week so if you have any questions about the packet, please CC me so I can be sure to get you a response. He will have limited access to emails/voicemails while he is away. After the Board Meeting wraps up we will begin our Strategic Planning Committee Meeting (Jamie, Ted and Julie), which I've also posted the agenda for: https://support.swanlibraries.net/sites/default/files/meeting/2018-04-20/ag… This is our initial discussion of the RFP results. We received 12 responses to our RFP. Depending upon what time the Board Meeting wraps up, we can determine if we will all break for lunch, or if we need to order in for lunch delivery. Susan Ricker

Hello SWAN Board, I just wanted to inform you that as of Friday, March 16th, our library relations specialist Susan Ricker is no longer a member of the SWAN staff. We have a full plan in place to continue to make communications and PR a priority for us, especially in light of the New19 migration, and we will continue our work with the PR task force with myself, Dawne and Brande. Any PR or communications-related inquiries can be sent to Brande and Dawne in the meantime, and Susan's email will also all be forwarded to them so nothing is missed.
