SWAN Board & Personnel Committee- The packet for tomorrow's 11 a.m. meeting is posted. This has a comparative chart between the 2021 insurance rates for medical, dental, and vision. The plans coverage, deductibles, etc. Unfortunately I do not have the rates yet from our insurance broker HUB. I do have a 1 p.m. meeting today with HUB, so I may revise the packet. Rather than wait too late, I decided to post for you what I have prepared. Ted, Jennifer, and Jane plan on attending that meeting. We decided to have this meeting to discuss the recent August 25th announcement from the LIMRiCC organization that the BlueCross BlueShield health insurance carrier would be switched to Aetna on January 1st. We want to at least better understand that change and know what the options are for SWAN employees if BlueCross BlueShield were provided through another medical insurance plan.
