At the March meeting, the board decided to move the April 19th meeting up 1 week to Friday, April 12th. This was due to the Good Friday holiday.
I shared this within the newsletter last week, but I wanted to email you all directly to ensure you knew about the change.

Hi SWAN Board,
I wanted to let you know that the self-nomination process yielded 5 individuals for the 3 SWAN Board seats. The names will be shared publicly on April 1st and the online ballot to vote begins April 29th.

Edith G. Craig, Director St Charles Public Library District
Jane Jenkins, Director Green Hills Public Library District
Robin Wagner, Director South Holland Public Library
These brave directors will compete for the seats being vacated by Doug, Rich, and Tiffany.

This is a relatively light agenda. There is an agenda item to arrange a Personnel Committee meeting, and I included an exhibit shows the SWAN Board committee assignments since I had to refer to that to remember that Julie and Doug are on that committee.

SWAN Board,
Today we met with all the SWAN staff and reviewed changes to the departments and our staffing plan. I have attached a PDF document for the SWAN Board to review prior to Friday's meeting. I will be making a membership announcement tomorrow and include a version of this document. Please note this version has on the cover "For SWAN Board" which includes some background information on the position changes on pages 6 and 7 that will not be included in the membership document version.
These changes were a combined effort of the management team.
