Symphony 4.1 Upgrade Postponed - Overnight Processing Currently Running Late
SWAN Member Library Staff: During the Symphony 4.1 upgrade process we encountered an issue that caused us to halt the installation. We have restored the Symphony server to 3.7.1. We will postpone the 4.1 upgrade to a later date once SirsiDynix is able to properly investigate the cause. Essential overnight maintenance reports will continue to run late as the system gets caught up. Please refrain from running any unnecessary reports until this process is complete. There is a known issue with running the WorkFlows 4.1 client on the Symphony 3.7.1 server. Attempting to edit items will result in a blank item information screen and you will not be able to close the wizard or client. If your library installed the WorkFlows 4.1 client and you would like to downgrade back to the WorkFlows 3.7.1 client until we are able to upgrade you can find a link to the installer here<https://support.swanlibraries.net/sites/default/files/downloads/SWAN_WorkFlows_3.7.1_Standard.msi>. We will update the News Article<https://support.swanlibraries.net/news/2024-06/94645> on the SWAN support site as we have more information. Thank you for your patience as we work with SirsiDynix to investigate the cause of the issue.
