SWAN Member Libraries & Information Technology Staff:
On Tuesday, August 28th between 6am-7am, RAILS IT will be performing an upgrade to the network hardware in the shared RAILS/SWAN datacenter. This upgrade will require downtime of most SWAN services, and while it’s expected to only last a few minutes, RAILS has requested that we prepare up to an hour for additional troubleshooting or work that could be necessary. During that time, WorkFlows will only be usable in Offline mode for limited circulation functions. Our documentation on Offline mode can be found at the link below.

The following SWAN services will be unavailable during the outage:
Again, this outage is planned from 6am to 7am, but is expected to only last about 15 minutes. In the event that the outage should extend beyond the scheduled timeframe, we'll issue a notice via MailChimp to notify the membership.
