COVID-19 Support Response - Immediate Action

SWAN staff will continuously monitor the systems and incoming requests from libraries to assist in closures. Oak Park Public Library has announced their closure and we expect other libraries to follow.

As a proactive measure to serve our libraries and patrons within our communities, the following immediate actions are being taken:

  1. All billing is suspended until May 1
  2. All collection reporting is suspended until May 1
  3. All Due Dates between March 7th and April 30th will be updated to May 1

In addition, if your library will be closing, we ask that you immediately submit a support ticket at help@swanlibraries.net. In the ticket, provide the following critical information:

  • Days Closed (start and end)
  • Contact person name, email and emergency phone number for coordination
  • Indicate whether you will have someone in the building to process deliveries
  • Indicate any link or special wording you would like incorporated into Enterprise banner

For libraries that are closed, the following actions will be immediately taken by SWAN staff:

  1. Days Closed calendar in WorkFlows will be updated/verified
  2. All holds for pick-up at the closed library will be suspended through end of closure
  3. Enterprise banner will be update to reflect closure
