SWAN Member Library Staff:

While investigating the root cause of a WorkFlows outage impacting a few libraries, we became aware that our firewall appears to be misreporting the tunnel status. We have confirmed that our Symphony systems are up, and many libraries are not reporting issues. Electronic resources and Aspen Discovery are also unaffected, however, internal SIP2 services at the libraries are also impacted..

As the affected libraries is below 10% of our membership, we will not be rebooting our firewall and potentially risk a more widespread outage.

The impacted libraries should continue using offline mode to circulate material while we continue to investigate. If your library is having difficulties connecting to WorkFlows, please open a support ticket. We will continue to update the known issue as more information becomes available.
