We're looking for interested library staff who would like to join Cataloging Advisory this January.
Cataloging Advisory is a group that discusses and advises SWAN staff on cataloging and serials topics including standards and practices, catalog quality, and workflow. We meet 6 times per year. The 2021 schedule is below.
Membership is for a two-year term, and we have seats reserved for both Cataloging Library and Pre-Cat Library staff. We only ask that you have some familiarity with cataloging practices and the SWAN bibliographic catalog.
If you'd like to join, send a statement of interest to scott@swanlibraries.net by Friday, November 20th. We'll announce the make-up of the group before the Thanksgiving holiday.
