Data migration of bibliographic/item records was completed over the weekend for our 3 newest members: Glenside Public Library District (GSD), Roselle Public Library District (ROD), and Warrenville Public Library District (WVD). The complete bibliographic database was rebuilt/reindexed with an additional 281,015 items added to the catalog.
We've received word from the SirsiDynix data load team that the patron/circulation data has been loaded. We have nearly 50,000 new patrons joining our SWAN family from our newest libraries.
Like Santa, we are making our list and checking it twice to make sure all data has been migrated into SWAN correctly. We will continue to monitor and respond to any data anomalies reported. In particular, our Bibliographic Services team is working on serials records.
Please join us in welcoming Glenside, Roselle, and Warrenville. These libraries officially "Go Live" first thing tomorrow morning, December 9th.
