**Please share with anyone involved in the creation of pre-cats**

 Marc tag 590 feeds the format facet in Enterprise and we have seen many pre-cats in the last two weeks with invalid terminology in the 590 field.  Consequently, items do not show up in filtered results in Enterprise.

 The most common mistakes are leaving the 590 tag blank or 590 **FORMAT**.  

The 590 tag should be deleted from book pre-cats. If you work with templates, SWAN Bib Services team can help you create a template for books without the 590 tag.

Large print books should have 590 LARGE PRINT.
