We have received notification from Riverdale PL that they are temporarily closing beginning on December 1, 2017.

They intend to re-open the library on January 29, 2018.  

At present, they are receiving RAILS delivery and  processing the materials received in their bookdrop.   Their bookdrop will be available for patrons to use until Dec. 15^th, after that time it will not be accessible.  

In the interim:

• Riverdale PL has requested that SWAN suspend all Riverdale patron holds with a pickup of Riverdale.
• Riverdale PL patrons that have placed holds and requested pickup at another library have not been suspended. 
• All Riverdale PL materials are not holdable.

Riverdale PL has requested that any Riverdale patron cards that expire before January 29^th be renewed for a period of one month as long as the patron is not delinquent.  However, new patrons requiring a Riverdale PL card should not be issued a new card until Riverdale re-opens.  Please ask them to visit the Riverdale library to secure a card after January 29^th.
