The Committee of the Whole meeting at Oak Brook Public Library agenda and packet is now posted online.

This packet contains information on an EBSCO group-purchase for a package of subscription databases SWAN has arranged for the 92 public libraries in SWAN. This group-purchase is part of a year-long effort by Electronic Resources Consultant Robin Hofstetter. Robin will present the EBSCO deal at the membership meeting and answer your questions. There are substantial savings for many SWAN libraries already paying for EBSCO resources, and those libraries not using EBSCO should take a look at the pricing listed in the packet.

This meeting will also introduce next year’s budget, which has been revamped with a new chart of accounts. Membership fees are presented as a draft in this packet as well.

And last and certainly not least, we will have a discussion on proposed changes to SWAN ByLaws.
