Fine Free Discussion Panel

Have you ever wondered what your library would be like if it didn’t have any more fines? Do you have questions on how to go fine free, but aren’t sure where to start? If this sounds like you, then this Fine Free Panel Discussion is where you want to be!

Join us on Wednesday, February 19th, from 1:30-4:30 at RAILS, for a lively discussion. Space is limited so please remember to register!

Our esteemed panel includes:

  • Andrea Telli, Commissioner of the Chicago Public Library
  • Laura Gorczyca Hanes, Circulation Coordinator for the Chicago Public Library
  • Dawn Bussey, Director, Glen Ellyn Public Library
  • Mieko Fujura-Landers, Member Services Libraries, Public Services, CCS
  • Lori Pulliam, Public Services and Programs, Oak Park Public Library
  • Christine Sporleder, Head of Circulation/Technical Services, Bloomingdale Public Library
  • Peggy Tomzik, Head of Circulation Services, Eisenhower Public Library District

Following the panel discussion, we will network with colleagues and share current practices, concerns, excitement, and collaborative ideas in consideration of implementing fine free policies within SWAN libraries and with our neighbors.
