Due to issues with the creation of certain call numbers, we have changed the way WorkFlows processes call number information.

Previously, when using the DEWEY or LC class schemes, call numbers containing "V" or "NO" would receive a |Z automatically before these values when saving the record. Because this created false volume information and affected patron holds, we have removed this function.

DEWEY and LC call numbers will now be retained as entered. When entering call numbers requiring volume or part information, the "|Z" must be manually inserted.

Please update your processes and documentation as necessary. Note that the LCPER class scheme has not been changed. The |Z subfield indicator will still be inserted automatically before volume and issue information on call numbers using LCPER.
