Be sure to attend the February 7 COW meeting at Oak Lawn, beginning at 9:30 a.m. The meeting’s L2 link is http://www.librarylearning.info/events/?eventID=24137. At this meeting, Executive Director Aaron Skog will review the fiscal year 2018 budget. This is your time to ask questions, dig into the numbers, and discuss with SWAN and the membership what thoughts you have on the budget. Following this, the SWAN Fees Committee will provide an update on its progress towards a new membership fee structure for the following 2019 fiscal year.

The meeting agenda will be posted at the end of January at https://support.swanlibraries.net/gov/meetings and also sent as a SWANcom to the membership. Because this is an offsite location, this membership meeting will not be streamed online. We encourage you to attend in person; this is a great opportunity to meet with other library staff and visit the Oak Lawn Public Library if you haven’t already.
