We’ve received some additional information to clarify the reason for our outage.

 

ICN experienced a large network outage at 9:35AM, lasting roughly 2 minutes. The cause of the issue was the core router(s) on their network reaching a route limit. They have resolved the issue and are working with Cisco to prevent it from occurring again.

This outage likely impacted customers throughout the area, including individual library networks (ICN customers), and some of our neighboring library consortia.

SWAN/RAILS Datacenter Outage on 8/22

SWAN Member Library Staff:

We've just experienced a brief network outage at the SWAN/RAILS datacenter, which impacted connectivity to the Symphony WorkFlows server, SWAN and RAILS support websites. We're currently in contact with RAILS and will follow-up if any further downtime is anticipated.
