For those of you who have reported your circ stats are lower than anticipated - we have identified the problem and created a solution. Regardless of where you run your circulation reports, it will reject any transaction for an item that was deleted. In an effort to limit the number of items not included, we have decided to delay the deletion of items until the monthly circulation statistics have run.

The DISCARD Items report will continue to run every week but will be limited to items with a last charged date that is six weeks prior to the running of the report. Please note that this change requires that everyone use the same method for discarding items, which is to charge them to your library's DISCARD user. Failure to use this method will cause your circulation statistics to be inaccurate.

The annual statistics recently posted to the website will not reflect items deleted in the last year. Moving forward we recommend you use the monthly circulation statistics instead of running an annual circulation statistics report.
