Tonight’s Enterprise server migration has been postponed for the moment, so no downtime is anticipated.

We expect to have a new date for the migration firmed up by the end of this week, and we’ll send an additional SWANcom as soon as it has been determined.

SWAN Libraries,

 

This is just a quick heads up. In our efforts to resolve some recent Enterprise issues, SirsiDynix is recommending an upgrade to the underlying server running Enterprise. This will result in more server resources supporting our system, but it will require some planned downtime starting at 11:59PM on Tuesday, August 1 next week.

 

We will send out another SWANcom email on Monday, with a reminder on Tuesday. The length of downtime is estimated to be 4-6 hours.

 

Thank you for your patience—SirsiDynix software engineers and the SaaS team have been studying our issues and recommend this first step.
