SWAN Libraries,

The SWAN 12/4 Quarterly meeting presentation slides are posted for you. Included in this presentation is the Pick Up Anywhere choices made by SWAN libraries, plus lots of information on the migration underway.

Direct link to the PowerPoint:

If that link doesn’t work, look for the 12/4 Quarterly meeting:

The Quarterly meeting was streamed and recorded directly in our YouTube account. If you want to catch up on the meeting and discussion about BLUEcloud Commerce and how it fits into the migration plans, make sure to watch using our embedded video on this webpage.

Next Steps for BLUEcloud Commerce:

·        The SWAN Board will review the recommendation presented at the Quarterly meeting and make a final determination at its 12/19 meeting

·        SWAN staff will coordinate an easy-to-adopt means for all the libraries filling out the ProPay paperwork once the Board has voted on the recommendation

·        I am creating a document for all SWAN libraries which will show the transaction counts and transaction average by each library for the fiscal year 2014 (July 2013 – June 2014), which will assist us with determining what ProPay costs might be per library

We will update you on the decision and share everything you need to know on this Members Only (login and password required) webpage dedicated to SWAN e-commerce options for libraries.
