SWAN Member Library Staff:
We're currently investigating an intermittent network outage affecting the RAILS data center. This limited outage is causing general slowness when accessing WorkFlows and occasional timeout/logouts.
Offline mode does not appear to be necessary at this time, but libraries are welcome to use it if preferred.
The following services are impacted by this issue:
- Symphony Server
* All WorkFlows access (cataloging, circulation, etc)
* SIP2 3rd Party Vendor Integration (databases, electronic media)
* SIP2 Hardware/Software Integration (AMH, self-check, PC reservation, print release)
- Enterprise
* My Account Features (slow to access)
* Commerce (slow to access)
* Item Availability (slow to access)
- Bookmyne
- MobileCirc
