We have suspended all SMS notifications until SirsiDynix informs us they have resolved their issue. Patrons who would normally receive a text message for their notices will be notified via email if they have an email address in their record. If they do not have an email address they will receive a printed notice. Please note that hold pickup notices are not printed, so any patrons without email addresses in their records may not be notified for holds.
The SMS notices that were sent last night and today successfully reached the SirsiDynix servers despite the SMS notices having not been successfully sent, causing WorkFlows to count them as sent. Despite this, those users will not have received an email notice.
We will update you and resume SMS notices when SirsiDynix informs us they have a resolution.
We are also working on building lists of users affected by these failed notices so you can follow up with your patrons accordingly. We will send updates to affected libraries as this data is collected and organized.
