We’re excited to announce a newly developed project created by SWAN’s Systems Engineer, Rudy Host! Today, the Patron Email Status tool (L2 login required) is live and ready for use on the SWAN support site.
With hopes to curtail the steps needed to troubleshoot a patron’s email notifications, Rudy created the Patron Email Status tool, which allows library staff to verify the status of a patron’s last 20 notice emails over the 30-day period. Not only does this service display the status of those emails, but it also provides some insight when emails could not be delivered, indicating if the patron has a mistyped email address or has inadvertently marked SWAN as spam, also including options to remedy the account in the instance of a spam status.
So the next time a patron is unsure if they received a notice email, give the Patron Email Status tool a try!
