Custom item notes have been added to provide circulation counts on an annual basis. These counts have been pulled for 2015 (post migration), 2016, and 2017.  To populate this information, transaction logs were scanned to tabulate the numbers. You may notice the following item notes:

• CKOS_2015S – count of checkouts from April 15, 2015-December 31, 2015
• CKOS_2016 – count of checkouts from January 1, 2016-December 31, 2016
• CKOS_2017 – count of checkouts from January 1, 2017-December 31, 2017

You may need to scroll down in the Extended Info section of the Item Info tab to see this.

You will also notice that the Circ Info > Item Statistics has been updated. Over the past weekend, we ran the annual report to reset checkouts and renewals to date. In the future, this report will be scheduled to run immediately after year end. At that time, we will also run the custom report to create the CKOS_2018 item note which will be populated from interval checkouts information stored in Symphony.

These counts are provided as a helpful tool for collection managers and selectors to help you see “at a glance” past trends on a specific item considered for weeding or replacement.
