Hello SWAN Board representatives—

The agenda and packet for the meeting this week of the SWAN Finance Committee is now posted. The board committee reps are Tim, Jesse, and Colleen, and we will meet at SWAN headquarters on Thursday 1 p.m.

This budget packet is quite detailed and therefore has a packet page count of 75 pages.

I have included some questions at the beginning of the memo that came up during the drafting of the FY24 budget. I am sorry to say that I do not have a membership fees chart created yet—I am still waiting for tax data from the Cook County Treasurers Office.

You will see that the RAILS LLSAP grant award to SWAN was lower for FY24. I have included the award letter and a memo explaining why the grant formula lowered the amount to SWAN.

There are two SWAN policies included for discussion. I have nothing specific to change with those policies, but it is good practice to review them each year.
